MINE TRAFFIC CONTROLLER (CSI)
This solution focuses on an underground loco or trackless traffic control system.
The Traffic Control System incorporates the active RFID reader and tag technology, which enables traffic lights to be switched when tagged vehicles or locos are read by stationary reader controllers deployed at critical locations in the haulages. All the TCM units on a node (up to 15) is linked via RS485. Each TCM unit has its own tag and ignores it when it is lost. This is done to integrate into the LAPS units to force a loco to crawl speed if it approaches the TCM unit.
When the TCM unit detects a loco with a tag it will indicate to the driver that he has right of way and all other TCM units in the node will stop approaching locos until the first loco is clear off all the TCM units in that node.
All events are recorded (up to 50 000) and can be downloaded via RS485/RS232 or Bluetooth
